If you’re anything like us, once you first started learning about marketing psychology and how it can benefit your brand, you wanted to get your hands on every resource possible. As luck would have it, social media has quickly become a one-stop shop for all sorts of marketing knowledge, including the brain science behind the best brand practices.

TikTok is no exception. We took a deep dive into the popular platform to find top sources for marketing psychology.

Here are our four of our favorites:

TikTok accounts for learning more about marketing psychology

1. Invisible Playbook

Human psychology is, in many ways, a subconscious framework for decision making. It’s an invisible guide, hence the name of this TikTok account.

Invisible Playbook is hosted by Ryan McNeill, a marketer and videographer with professional experience working with brands like Ford Motor Company, GQ and Nike. McNeill discusses topics such as persuasion and influence, the power of subliminal messages, unconscious thinking and more. With over 200,000 followers, Invisible Playbook has some attractive content that keeps its audience coming back for more.

2. Index Ventures

Run by a European venture capital firm with the same name, Index Ventures posts videos on founder stories, trending news in technology and startup tips. They also post content on elements of consumer psychology that brands incorporate in their marketing campaigns, storefronts and technology. Their videos bring in thousands of views thanks to their interesting, and often rare, content.

3. Tall Psychology

Tall Psychology is hosted by PhD student Ethan and has over 300,000 followers. The page features a series on things Ethan has read, real-life brand practices incorporating psychology and psychology experiments.

The videos break down psychological concepts, behavioral patterns and marketing research strategies to make them easier to understand. There’s also a focus on current trends, viral social media moments and modern-day marketing tactics.

4. Nudge Podcast

The highly ranked business and psychology podcast, Nudge Podcast has taken its talents to TikTok. Despite only having a handful of videos on the platform, Nudge has garnered over 11,000 followers with many of its videos reaching tens of thousands of views. The account has videos on creating memorability, product loyalty and various marketing tips.

The marketing psychology space is in its infancy on TikTok, but the sources on the app pack a mighty wealth of knowledge. Give these channels a view or two and you’ll be surprised at how much you’ll learn.
